Regarding calling in prescriptions for an acute illness, we require that a patient be seen and evaluated to determine the appropriate medication before calling in a medication to a pharmacy.

For routine refills of medication, please allow us 4-7 business days to process the request. You may also request that your pharmacy send us the electronic renewal.

If your child is on medications for a chronic condition such as asthma, allergies, migraines, ADD/ADHD, or acne we requirea follow up visit every 3-6 months for monitoring (depending on the condition). Therefore, if you call for a refill on medication and it has been a longer than the alloted time, we will request that you come in to the office for a visit.

Certain medications, such as controlled substances, cannot be called in or prescribed electronically. Instead, it will be required that you pick up the prescription from one of our office locations.

We do not prescribe or refill antibiotics unless the patient is evaluated.
