Our nurse practitioner, Angela, also brings the ability to provide lactation counseling to our practice. Not only is Angela a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with her certification in pediatric nursing, she is furthermore, a certified lactation counselor (CLC). Angela's lactation counselor certification comes from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP) and because of Angela's background as a nurse, she is additionally certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for her lactation counseling

Angela is able to meet with parents prior to delivery to provide education as well as provide a consultation during any well-newborn visit.
