Expecting Care - Newborns

Congratulations! On behalf of the physicians and staff at Dr. George Kids, we would like to welcome you and your little one to our practice. A new baby is a tremendous source of joy. We are honored that you have chosen our practice to be a part of your family.

Good news – until baby is born, there is not much to be done in terms of establishing care with our office. Once admitted to labor and delivery, you let the staff know we will be your baby’s pediatrician. After baby is born, our office will be contacted to round on baby throughout their hospital stay. We are associated with Christ, Little Company of Mary, Silver Cross and Palos/Northwestern Hospital. If we are not on staff at the hospital you deliver at, the doctor on staff will visit your baby. Once discharged from the hospital, contact our office and speak with our registration department to make baby’s first appointment, usually within 1-2 days.
